Viewed as an important asset to downtown Mansfield, the 1400 seat Renaissance Theater underwent a major restoration/alteration in 1985. As Project Architect, Dan Seckel was responsible for production of all construction documents, specifications and supervision of the work. Specialty contracts included stage rigging and gridiron modifications, theatre lighting and sound, installation of a restored organ and rehabilitation of the original seating. Construction also included excavating of a new orchestra pit and incorporation of salvaged architectural features from nearby demolished properties.
