Completed in 1989, the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library in downtown Mansfield represents a two and one half year process of design, drawing and construction. A product of successful partnering with a consulting architectural firm, schematic design was performed by Baxter, Hodell, Donnelly Preston of Cincinnati. Dan Seckel served as Project Architect responsible for design development, construction documents, bidding, construction and specialty furnishings contracts. Total area of the project was 85,000 square feet with a 1989 cost of 5 million dollars.
