North Central State College Urban Higher Education Center
Mansfield, Ohio

Initially founded in 1961, North Central State College has excluded to a 3500 student institute of higher learning largely located in a wooded commuter campus northwest of Mansfield. In 2010 the decision was made to open a high tech learning center in the downtown area. A historic building was chosen to house the center that will feature computer classes, a distance learning center, individual study locations and a business incubator for students with aspirations to develop their own technically oriented business. Special design features will contrast the cotemporary interior with historic preservation.
